The Lomega boys will be among the field in the Class 2A state cross country meet.

The Raiders were third at their regional last Saturday in Enid.

Lomega had 125 points. Mooreland won it with 32 and Hooker was second with 75.

Lomega edged Hammon’s 128 points.

Tate Ott led the Raider pack with a fourth-place finish in 18:21.7.

Hector Rivera was 10th overall, but ninth toward the team point total.

Riley Lumpkin was 31st (24th) for Lomega, which was ranked third in the latest 2A poll.

In the 2A girls race, Cashion senior Kaitin Taylor was sixth overall and crossed the finish line in 13:01.3.

Her finish advanced her to the state meet as an individual.

Hennessey had four individuals advance to state from the 3A regional, which was also held in Enid.

Three of them were on the boys side.

Noah Moery was 15th, Marcos Corral 17th and Arturo Sanchez 35th to move on to state.

Hennessey’s girls were 12th as a team, but Jamie Torres’ 27th place finish advanced her to state.
