Bradford ‘Brad’ Dalrymple
Loving husband, father, grandfather, Papa and friend, Bradford Ray Dalrymple of Kingfisher, left his worldly home on Sept. 13, 2023, in Kingfisher.
Brad was born in Modesto, Calif., in 1958 to Raymond and Helen (Eakins) Dalrymple of Modesto. He was the middle child of five boys.
Brad married his best friend for life and his forever plus one, Jeri Ann Sheriff, on July 25, 2023, in Ronan, Mont., surrounded by the mountains and fresh air that he loved so much.
He always said that she said she loved him first, but that he knew that he knew it first.
God’s hand was in the middle of their relationship and marriage from the very beginning.
Brad had an amazing daughter, Justine Dalrymple of Kingfisher.
She was his pride and joy and his smile lit up when he talked about her and saw her. The bond between them was inseparable and undeniable.
Brad’s favorite role had to be as a grandfather to Raymond Perez of Modesto and great-grandfather to Ezekiel Perez of Kingfisher.
Brad was also loved and adored by Kendra and Josh Gore and Klint and Julie Kadavy, all of Kingfisher.
He was blessed beyond measure to be a Papa to Drake, Emma and Elliot Gore, Aubree Burpo, Kadence and Kaura Kadavy and Parker LeForce, all of Kingfisher.
He worked at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher for 18 years.
He was a dedicated worker and was loved by all who knew him.
The words that they used to describe Brad are: He was a special one at KRH – no one like him; he was helpful, one of the best, good guy and wonderful, amazing and sweet man, admired and close friend, always had a smile on his face, light on anyone’s bad day.
They also said he was the glue that held the hospital together; family to all at work, he was the brother we all loved dearly and the dad we all wished we had.
Brad also was a wonderful pet dad to his beloved Kai. She loved her dad unconditionally and he loved her.
Everyone who knew Brad knew that he was an outdoorsenthusiast. He loved to be in the mountains with the trees and fresh air and rushing water. He loved to camp, hike and go trout fishing.
One of his favorite past times had to be riding his motorcycle, feeling the wind on his face and enjoying the freedom.
However, his favorite thing to do was enjoy the sunrises alone in the presence of God, talking to Him. He was a man of faith and all who knew him experienced the love of God in his presence.
Brad also had brothers and sisters-in-law whom he loved dearly: Greg and Gina Dalrymple of Polson, Mont.; sister-in-law Jana Dalrymple of Thomas; Gary and Janie Dalrymple of Melbourne, Ark.; and David Dalrymple of Boley.
He was loved by all his nieces and nephews and he adored them as well.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Helen Dalrymple and brother Larry Dalrymple, formerly of Thomas.
A public viewing for Brad will be held at Sanders Funeral Home in Kingfisher from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19.
A party celebrating Brad’s life will be held at a later date.
Brad will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Until we meet again Brad...
