Brenda Gay Lann, a beloved mother, grandmother and friend, was born on Sept. 10, 1950, in Cushing.

She was the cherished daughter of Herman Marvin Kerby and Marie (Cross) Kerby.

She passed away May 7, 2025, in Kingfisher.

Brenda’s life was marked by her unwavering love for family, her deep faith and her selfless nature. On Sept. 19, 1990, Brenda married the love of her life, Tony Lann.

Together, they shared countless memories filled with laughter, love and devotion.

Brenda dedicated herself to various roles throughout her life, working as a cook and housekeeper, but it was in her role as a homemaker that she truly flourished.

With a nurturing heart, she ensured that her family was always taken care of, loving and supporting them in every way possible. Brenda found great joy in attending church, most recently at Lifeway. Her passion for volunteering demonstrated her selflessness; she always lent a helping hand to those in need without hesitation. She enjoyed shopping and embraced the beauty of nature during camping and fishing trips with her children as they were growing up.

Family was Brenda’s greatest treasure. Her loving spirit will live on through her husband, Tony; her children, Roxie Patterson, Vanessa Richey and husband Gabe, and Nicole Hux and husband Chad; and her grandchildren, Karesa Patterson and fiancé Bud Hardin, Kealin Patterson and significant other Mercedes Jackson, Allie Bell and husband Zach Bell, Hope Patterson and significant other Zach Rouse, Harley Hux, Graci Hux, Spencer Rigsby, Jonathon Rigsby, Cheyenne Rigsby and Rylee Richey.

Brenda will also be remembered fondly by her great-grandchildren, Jett Hardin, Karson, Braxton and Rosalie Patterson, Skylah and Suttyn Bell and Luxton Crum and Letty Rouse. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Kerby, sisters-in-law, Cindy Kerby and Amelia Kerby, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Pat Patterson, brother Raymond Kerby, nephew Joshua Kerby and great-grandson Jayden Patterson. Brenda will be deeply missed, but her love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her. Viewing to pay final respects to Brenda will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, May 14 and 15, at Wilson Funeral Home, 1612 S. Main St., Kingfisher.
