Dale Glazier

Dale Wayne Glazier was born Aug. 15, 1967, to Tom and Cheryl “Shortie” Glazier in Okarche.

He was a Christian man and went to his heavenly home on June 6, 2023. Dale was the very proud big brother of Stacy and Kyle.

He grew up on their family farm in Loyal and attended Lomega Public Schools where he graduated in 1985.

He attended Oklahoma State University and got his degree in agricultural education.

Dale taught ag at Thomas- Fay-Custer and Lomega from 1995 to 2010. He loved teaching and made such an impact on each of his students’ lives. After teaching, he farmed in the Loyal and Omega areas.

Dale is survived by his wife Lori and daughters Whitney and Rylee; father Tom Glazier of Loyal; brother Stacy Glazier of Loyal his children Cody and wife Destinee, Cali and husband Gage, Trey and Rhett; brother Kyle Glazier and wife Sheri of Loyal and their children Kol and Gentri; in-laws Wyman and Karen Nemecek of Guthrie; brother in-law Jeff Nemecek and wife Carla of Iola, Kan., and their children Brody and Kyser; along with several cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Cheryl “Shortie” Glazier,; grandparents Marvin and Eileen (Garms) Glazier and Lesly and Lena (Pope) Wehrenberg; uncles Leslie Glazier, Gary Glazier, Phil Wehrenberg and Jeff Littlefield; and aunt Susie Wehrenberg.

A fund will be established at the Oklahoma FFA Foundation to honor Dale.

His family wishes to establish an award that will go towards the FFA Proficiency Program.

Funeral services were Friday, June 9, at Lomega High School gym with burial following at Forest Home Cemetery in Loyal.
