Daryl Gene Richardson, a beloved son, father, pap, father-in-law and friend, passed away on Nov. 3, 2023, at the age of 53 in Oklahoma City.

He was born on July 11, 1970, at Okarche Memorial Hospital to Clarence Gene Richardson and Julie Ann Richardson.

Daryl grew up in Kingfi sher where he attended and graduated from Kingfi sher High School.

Following his education, Daryl embarked on a fulfilling career as a CDL Class A truck driver, working in the trucking industry.

He found great joy and pride in his profession, crisscrossing the country on the open roads, delivering goods and ensuring their safe transportation.

Daryl was known for his professionalism and dedication, traits that endeared him to his colleagues and clients alike.

Throughout his career, he worked at various companies including Henry’s Contracting, BBB Holdings, M&R Enterprises and Kingfi sher Construction.

In addition to his love for trucking, Daryl had a passion for gardening.

Daryl’s faith played an essential role in his life, as he was a devout Christian. He found comfort in his spirituality and used it as a guiding force throughout his journey.

His unwavering faith provided him with strength, wisdom and compassion, which he shared generously with those around him.

Daryl was preceded in death by his mother, Julie Richardson; father, Clarence Richardson; sisters, Gina Michelle Richardson and Genee Lee Ann Richardson; and wife, Nena Rose Hawk Richardson.

He is survived by his son, Andrew Richardson and significant other Haley; sister, Christie Dufur and husband Lynn; nephews, Joshua Dufur and Casey Dufur; twin grandsons, Monte and James Richardson; granddaughter, Maleyea (MJ); cousin, Sheila Stallard and family; aunt, Connie Scott and family; and numerous other beloved family members.

A funeral service to honor the life of Daryl was Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Frontline Ministries in Kingfisher under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
