Eddie Charles Keith passed away surrounded by his loving family on Dec 17, 2023, in Okarche. He was born Aug. 14, 1946, in Ardmore. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mable Sandidge and Robert Keith. Eddie left the ninth grade to join the circus, but found his way into the U.S. Army.

Shortly after he became honorably discharged, he turned into a traveling man. He enjoyed working in the oilfield with his brothers and later in life started telesales before he settled down in Okarche to enjoy life with his family.

He was also preceded in death by four older brothers, Carlton, Dixon, Dow and Jimmy Keith; wife, Karen Keith; daughter, Vanessa and great-grandson, Mason Sutton.

He is survived by three sisters, Earsie, Ruth and Minie Beth; three children, Walter, Tracy and Steve; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

He loved all of his kids, grandkids and let’s not forget his animals.

His pastimes included westerns, cigars, casinos and shots of Jack.

At any point in time he would give anyone the shirt off his back and go buy a new one.

Anyone who ever had the opportunity to spend time with him definitely wanted to hang out with him again.

He left an impression on many lives. He was a true outlaw - Wild & Free Eddie was an amazing father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.

So now, grandma, he is coming home to see you again.

Funeral services for Eddie were Friday, Dec. 22, at First Baptist in Okarche with burial following at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
