Greta Foote

Greta Boyd Foote, 86, of Albuquerque N.M., passed away on April 26, 2023.

Greta was born in Kingfi sher to Lela and Guy Boyd. She graduated from Kingfi sher High School in 1955.

She married Bob Foote at the First Christian Church of Kingfisher after high school and they moved to Albuquerque in the late 1950s.

Greta and Bob had four children: Larry Foote (Sherry), Michael Foote (Teri), Shari Foote Dahl (Rory) and Craig Foote; and five grandchildren.

Greta is also survived by her sister Marylu Boyd Wilson, Kingfisher; Don Steiner, brother-in-law, Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews.

Greta was predeceased by her parents, Guy and Lela Boyd; her husband; and her sister, Pat Boyd Steiner.

Greta was a charter member of the Albuquerque FOP Auxiliary, where she held various offices in the local, state and national board.

At her memorial service at the FOP Lodge Albuquerque last week, numerous people stood and spoke about their special time with Greta.

She was always smiling, loved her children and husband, was humble, grateful, caring, steadfast and will be greatly missed by many.
