Jeannine Hansens

Jeannine Hansens, 90, passed this life Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, at Cimarron Nursing Center.

Jeannine was born Jan. 16, 1929, in Kingfisher to Elmer and Violet Stringer.

She married Ralph “Butch” Hansens on Sept. 4, 1949, and became a farmer’s wife and homemaker.

She enjoyed cooking and taking many meals to the harvest field.

Jeannine was a member of the Federated Church and the church women’s circle group.

She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Kingfisher Women’s Elks Association.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her husband, Butch, and infant son, James Ralph.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Becky Hansens of Kingfisher, and daughter and son-in-law Susan and Matt Endres of Kingfisher; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her brother and his wife, Jim and Dovie Stringer of Hutchinson, Kan.; sister-in-law Ruth Murray of Cottonwood, Ariz.; sister-in-law Thelma Hansens of Kingfisher; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Federated Church, 400 W. Fay Ave., Kingfisher, OK 73750.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Federated Church.
