Jerome Anthony Maschino entered into eternal life July 30, 2020.

Jerome was born Oct. 18, 1938, to Joseph A. and Mary E. (Kuestersteffen) Maschino in Sacred Heart. They moved to Okarche when he was young and there he lived, went to school and raised his family.

Jerome married his wife of 57 years, Carholine Elizabeth Cochran, on Aug. 11, 1962. They made a home just south of Okarche where they raised five children.

Jerome worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 33 years, retiring in 1993.

He and his wife also owned and operated Maschino Meat Processing for 25 years after his parents retired.

He is survived by his wife Carholine; sons Tony, and Tim and wife Brenda; daughters Theresa, and Deborah and husband Travis, daughter-in-law Dawn (Mrs. Scott) Maschino and brother Francis.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary; his brothers George, Joseph W., Mike and Carl; daughter-in-law Connie (Mrs. Tony); and son Scott.

Jerome was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

He was a hard worker and a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was patient, kind and God fearing.

Remember him as an honest man.

A funeral Mass was held Monday, Aug. 3, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche.

Burial followed in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
