Linda Emmerich Best
Linda Carol Emmerich Best was born Nov. 7, 1965, to Victor and Evelyn Clark Emmerich.
Linda passed away peacefully at her home in Crescent on Sunday, June 25, 2023.
Linda was a beautiful, kind, extraordinary person.
She saved lives, spread knowledge, encouraged people to reach their full potential and so much more.
She was a southern mama, a housewife, a nurse, an EMT, a daughter and a farmer. She had a great sense of humor and amazing taste in music.
Linda attended Langston University for nursing in 1997, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2002, and later a master’s in nursing.
She served as an EMT for several years.
Linda worked as a nurse practitioner at many clinics in Oklahoma.
She was always a caring caregiver to all; always willing to help wherever she could.
Linda was very devoted to her church and had very strong faith.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brother Alan Themer and wife Linette.
Survivors include her brothers Jeff Themer and wife Diane, Carl Themer and Jay Themer; her loving husband Bryan K. Best; daughter Jaci Willyard and husband Stephen, son Bobby Smith and son Phillip (Mike) Smith; stepsons Isiah Best and William Aufl egar; two beautiful granddaughters, Liela and Dahlia Willyard; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher, at 10 a.m. Friday, June 30.
