Norma Jeane Soudek, 85, of Cleveland, passed from this life on June 19, 2020, at her home.

Norma was born Aug. 20, 1934, in Kingfisher. She was the daughter of Roy J. and Helen Marie (Barney) Campbell.

Norma attended school in Kingfisher where she graduated with the Class of 1952. During her time in high school, she was an active part of the Kingfisher marching band.

Following high school, Norma attended Draughon School of Business in Oklahoma City and then later attended Texas Womens University in Denton, Texas.

During her time in Denton, she obtained her associate’s degree in business.

Norma returned to Kingfisher and was united in marriage to Ralph Victor Soudek on Sept. 11, 1956.

Following the birth of their first born, the couple soon moved to Pueblo, Colo., where their five other children were born.

In 1967 the couple moved the family to Denver. While residing in Denver, Norma worked for Farmers Insurance in the accounting department.

In October 1975, Norma and Ralph returned to Oklahoma and made Cleveland their home.

Several years later, Norma accepted a position with American Airlines where she worked for over 18 years before she retired.

After retirement, she became a Tupperware consultant for many years.

It has been said that she owns every piece of Tupperware ever made.

Norma always enjoyed spending time with her family. Some of her favorite times were getting the family together; she loved to entertain.

During the holidays Norma would get the grandchildren together so they could work on some kind of project.

Norma was a wonderful cook. She loved when her kids were working in the kitchen with her where she could teach them some of her best recipes.

She always enjoyed canning vegetables from the garden, especially tomatoes. One of Norma’s greatest accomplishments was raising her six children and watching them become productive adults.

Norma will be known and remembered by everyone for her generosity, honesty, unconditional love and forgiveness.

Survivors include her six children, Mark Soudek, Greg Soudek, Angela Carter and her husband Robert, Rod Soudek, Rhonda Grantham and her husband Paul, all of Cleveland, and Jennifer Peppard and her husband Jay of Arlington, Texas; three siblings, Carol Yates of Tahlequah, Melva Butler and Jess Campbell of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, Krystle Soudek, David Soudek, Travis Carter, Daniel McGrew, Carlie McGrew, Jason Peppard, Justin Peppard; three great-grandchildren, Camdyn Neeves, Silas McGrew and Christian Wofford; as well as a host of other relatives and friends that will mourn her passing.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Soudek and parents Roy and Helen Campbell.

Services were Wednesday, June 24, at the Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Elfrink officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford. Pallbearers included Mark Soudek, Greg Soudek, Rod Soudek, Robert Carter, Jay Peppard and Paul Grantham.

Honorary pallbearers were David Soudek, Travis Carter, Daniel McGrew, Jason Peppard and Justin Peppard.
