From 1957 to 1959, Stan served in the United States Army both stateside and in Germany.

After an honorable discharge, Stan resumed his career at Transcon which ultimately moved he and his family back to Oklahoma.

Later in life, Stan worked for the City of Oklahoma City in several areas, including the Oklahoma City Police Department, from which he retired.

Stan is survived by his daughter, Cindy, daughter Sherry and husband Eddie, son John and wife Ester, son Jason and wife Kerri, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three siblings and three nieces. “Pop” will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
