Treva Lynn Carico Gamble, 64, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her Okarche home with her husband by her side.

Treva was born June 22, 1959, in Shawnee to Boniface W. and Doris (Caldwell) Carico.

Treva loved animals, especially her dog, Dolly, and her cat, Cookie.

When Treva was little she loved playing the Lone Ranger with her stick horse, black mask and cowboy hat. She would ride her stick horse all day long.

Treva graduated in May 1977 from McLoud High School.

She married Bobby Gamble on June 23, 1977.

The two were each other’s lifelong companions. They were blessed with one son, Bradly Scott Gamble.

Treva worked at NBC Bank in Kingfisher for 10 years and retired from Pioneer Telephone Cooperative after 22 years.

Treva loved shopping and spending time with friends, family and grandchildren.

Treva has many friends old and new whom she loved dearly.

Treva will always be remembered by her beautiful personality and loving heart.

Treva is survived by her husband Bobby of the home; their son Bradly Gamble and daughter-inlaw Heather of Piedmont; sister Jarenda Garner and husband William of Yukon; brother Ronnie Carico of McLoud; grandchildren Dylan Rein of Oklahoma City, Vega Gamble of Piedmont and Kynlee Simmons of Piedmont; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Treva was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandma Annie Carico and maternal grandma Bessie Caldwell.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, at the First Baptist Church of Okarche.
