Vernon Roger Pope, born on March 26, 1941, went home to the Lord on Dec. 27, 2025, in Edmond.

Funeral services for Vernon will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.

Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Bierig Cemetery north of Okeene.
