Dover’s Bell wins regional gold, qualifies in 3 events

Dover had two athletes qualify for state at its Class A regional in Cherokee.
Kylee Bell is the pole vault regional champion.
The junior cleared 10-6, which was also the best of any other regional in the state.
Bell also got in with her performance in the 300 hurdles.
She ran the race in 48.88, good for second place.
Bell accounted for all 20 of Dover’s points as she was also fifth in the high jump. Her jump of 4-8 also qualified her for state.
Jonah Pendergraft will also compete at state as the senior was the regional runner- up in the high jump.
Pendergraft cleared 4 feet, 10 inches to qualify.
The Class A and 2A state meets are Friday and Saturday at Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City.
The 3A and 4A meets are the same days at Plainview High School, just west of Ardmore.
