Kingfisher High School senior Kylie Hood is officially a four-time state qualifier in golf.

Hood shot an 86 Wednesday at a Class 4A regional at Elk City Golf and Country Club.

That placed her sixth individually, but was also first among individual golfers from non-qualifying teams (KHS did not field a full team).

She’ll be playing Monday and Tuesday in the Class 4A state tournament at Winter Creek Golf Course in Blanchard.

Joining her will be junior teammate Raegan Snider, who shot a 93 Wednesday.

That was good for 11th overall and second among golfers from non-qualifying teams (the 4A regionals take the top three teams and then the top three individuals from non-qualifying teams).

Hood was a member of Kingfisher’s state runner- up team as a freshman in 2021.

She has qualified as an individual each of the last three seasons.

Snider is now a threetime individual qualifier.

Clinton won the regional championship with a 332.

Also advancing were Elk City (367) and Weatherford (369).

••• Cashion punched its team ticket to the Class 2A state tournament.

The Lady Wildcats were fifth in their regional Monday at The Coves Golf Club in Afton.

Class 2A advances the top six teams from each regional to state.

Cashion shot a 444. Turner was the runaway regional champ with a 306. The Lady Falcons were the only team to shoot sub-400.

Summit Christian was second with a 424 followed by Empire (432), Oklahoma Christian Academy (433) and then Cashion.

Roff (453) was the last qualifier.

Ellea Smith led Cashion with a 104.

Reece Patterson turned in a 105, Addyson Jackson a 112 and Kyndal Iso a 123.

Bailey Garrett shot a 138.

The Class 2A state tournament is Monday and Tuesday at Prairie West Golf Course in Weatherford.

••• The Hennessey girls were unable to advance past their 3A regional.

The Lady Eagles shot a 445 at Rock Creek Golf Course in Sapulpa, which placed them 12th. Only the top six teams advanced.

Kadee Meeker led the team with a 98.

Other rounds counting toward Hennessey’s total were a 109 from Taryn Jech, a 116 from Katie Kennedy and a 122 from Kallie Rapp. Marisol Valles turned in a 149.
