Cale Reagan’s third-place showing paced a steady Kingfisher High School boys golf team as it won the Perkins- Tryon Tournament.

Reagan shot a 4-over-par 76 and KHS shot 332 as a team Thursday at Cimarron Trails Golf Course.

That score was four strokes better than runner- up Perry.

Myles Harrison added an 83 for the Jackets, good for eighth individually.

Kingfisher also got an 86 from Luciano Orozco, which placed him 14th; an 87 from Ryan Sanders, good for 16th; and a 90 from Paytun Burnham, which placed him 22nd.

It was Kingfisher’s second tournament of the week.

The Jackets shot a 336 Monday at Lake Hefner Golf Club’s South Course.

That placed them 10th in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament.

Bethany won the tournament with a 301.

Tuttle was the runner-up at 306 and Woodward third with a 312.

Harrison’s 81 led the Jackets.

The junior was 25th among the individuals.

The Dover sophomore shot a 79 at the 2024 Broncho Invitational.

He was just seven strokes back of Bethany’s Wyatt Geissler, whose 72 won the tournament.

••• The inaugural Dover Girls Invitational was held last Monday at Kingfisher Golf Course.

The event took the place of the former smallschool tournament hosted by KHS and was proof that every stroke matters in golf.

That was just one stroke better than runner- up Oklahoma Christian School’s 375.

And that beat third-place Merritt’s 376 by just a single stroke.

Harley Shoaf of Arnett was second with an 88.

Locally, Hennessey placed sixth with its 437.
