KHS grapplers make quick work of Casady
Kingfisher had little trouble Tuesday in grabbing its eighth dual win of the season.
The Jackets handled Casady 64-12 in their showdown in Oklahoma City.
KHS lost just two matches on the night and also received six forfeit victories.
Of the remaining matches, KHS won all but one of them with a fall.
The exception was at 132 pounds as the Jackets’ Dexter Fletcher out-classed Davis Garner with a 13-1 major decision.
That gave KHS a 22-0 lead, one that grew to 40-0 before Casady scored any points.
Earning pins for Kingfi sher were Jaxon Sheppard at 138, Brayden Kochenower at 150, Abe Prieto at 165, and Ryker Long at 215.
Forfeit winners were Maddox Gomez at 106, Maliki Haynes at 120, Jase Ramming at 126, Chance Dunn at 144, Mason Alig at 190 and Jose Santoyo at heavyweight.
Kingfisher was hosting the Western Conference Wrestling Tournament over the weekend at the APB.
