KHS softball players earn all-district

Two Kingfisher softball players earned all-district honors and three more were honorable mention after a vote by coaches last week.

District 4A-1 first-team honors were awarded to senior Mia Farrell and Olivia Wilcox.

Farrell was named as an outfielder and Wilcox as a pitcher.

Honorable mention went to Kaycee Karcher at shortstop, Mya Dewberry at catcher and Natalie Dick at third base.

That group helped KHS to a 25-15 record overall and a 4-8 mark in the district.

That district mark was good enough for fourth place, allowing the Lady Jackets to host a bi-district for the first time.
