Kingfisher hosting Edward Jones Invitational baseball

Kingfisher’s Homier Field will be the host site for one-half of the Edward Jones Invitational baseball tournament to be played Thursday-Saturday.

The Jackets are a part of Pool A and have one game Thursday and two Friday before matching up with a team from Pool B on Saturday.

Those pool games will be played in Piedmont and will feature the host school, Heritage Hall, Elk City, Pryor, El Reno and Putnam City West.

Joining KHS in Pool A are Guthrie, Clinton, Vici, Chisholm and Durant.

Following is a schedule of games to be played in Kingfisher:

Thursday

Kingfisher vs. Guthrie, 10 a.m.

Clinton vs. Guthrie, 12:15 p.m.

Clinton vs. Vici, 2:30 p.m.

Chisholm vs. Vici, 4:45 p.m. Chisholm vs. Durant, 7 p.m.

Friday

Kingfisher vs. Vici, 11 a.m. Chisholm vs. Guthrie, 1:15 p.m. Clinton vs. Durant, 3:30 p.m. Kingfisher vs. Durant, 5:45 p.m.

Saturday at Kingfisher

Championship, 10 a.m. TBD, 12:15 p.m. TBD, 2:30 p.m.
