    Lomega Raiders vs. Cimarron Trailblazers

Twelve different Raiders scored Tuesday night as Lomega remained undefeated early this basketball season.

Playing their second road game of the year, Lomega dominated from the tip in a 71-39 victory at Cimarron.

The Raiders didn’t give up a two-point fi eld goal in the game. Cimarron only scored from beyond the 3-point line and at the charity stripe.

Unfortunately for the Blazers, six of the 10 made 3-pointers came in the fourth quarter when the game had long been decided.

The Raiders, meanwhile, got a healthier balance of scoring. While they did bury eight 3-pointers, they also featured Noah Snowden inside.

Snowden scored a team-high 16 points, 10 of which came in the first half as Lomega built up a 34-7 lead.

Dilon Fisher added 13 points while Blake Snowden scored 12.

Those two combined for a trio of treys, two from Snowden.

The Raiders’ lead grew to 54-17 after three quarters.

Cimarron’s Blake Pettus got hot with six fourth-quarter 3-pointers. He scored 21 points, all on 3-pointers.

Lady Raiders bounce

back from loss

Lomega’s setback more than a week ago against Okarche proved quite temporary.

In their first game since the defeat, the Lady Raiders trounced Cimarron 88-49 on the road last Tuesday night.

After allowing Cimarron to stay in the game in the first half, the Lady Raiders put it away by outscoring their guests 40-14 in the final two quarters.

Three Lady Raiders scored in double fi gures, including Adysen Wilson’s game-high 30 points.

Wilson was held without a field goal in the loss to Okarche, but made eight 3-pointers at Cimarron.

Four of those came in the third quarter as Lomega’s halftime lead of 48-35 ballooned to 77-37.

The Lady Raiders allowed only two free throws in the frame.

Meanwhile, Darcy Roberts added to Wilson’s barrage with two treys of her own as Lomega outscored Cimarron 29-2 in the quarter.

Roberts finished with 15 points, including four treys overall.

Shelby Russell added 16 points, 13 of which came in the fi rst half.

The Lady Raiders (2-1) also got eight points from Hallie Barton.

Nine different Lomega players scored in the game.
