Sickness forces basketball postponement

Apparently Kingfisher brought back more than a consolation championship trophy from Ada.

KHS was forced to postpone its scheduled home basketball games with Chickasha on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

A majority of the KHS girls basketball team fell ill upon returning from the Bertha Frank Teague Mid-America Classic, leaving the team without enough to play on Tuesday. The matchups with Chickasha will now be played Saturday, Jan. 27. The girls game will be a 2 p.m. at the APB and the boys will follow at 3:30 p.m. There will be no JV games.
