Mannie Turner

The funeral for Mannie Jake Turner, 81, was Monday, Jan. 23, at Hennessey Church of Christ officiated by Regan Walters.

Arrangements were by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Mannie was born on Feb. 2, 1941, in Runnels County, Texas, to Marvin and Johnnie Stubblefield Turner and died Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at his home in Hennessey.

Mannie married Kathleen Terry in Norton, Texas, on June 27, 1965.

Mannie is survived by his wife Kathy of the home; two sons, Dale Turner of Dover and Mitchell Moffett of Show Low, Ariz.; two granddaughters, Chelsey Hux and Ashley Muns; one grandson, Hayden Turner; and 11 great-grandchildren, Breahnna Hux, Danica Hux, Aurora Hux, Axel Hux, Ember Hux, Jeylynn Muns, Blaze Muns, Olive Muns, Evey Muns, Thorin Muns and Leo Muns.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Danny Turner, one brother and three sisters.
