Add yet another big honor to the resumes of Emma Stover and Darcy Roberts.

The Kingfisher County pair saw their names on the list late last week when the Oklahoma Coaches Association announced its girls All-State basketball teams.

Lomega’s Roberts and Okarche’s Stover will be a part of the Small West when it plays the Small East during the annual OCA All-State Games the last week of July in the Tulsa area.

The “small” schools represent Classes 3A and below.

Only 10 players are selected to each team, meaning the county comprises 20 percent of the Small West.

Both Stover and Roberts were previously named to the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-State team and were named MVPs of their respective conferences. Sto-ver won the honor for the Three Rivers while Roberts did the same for the Cherokee Strip.

To earn a spot on the OCA All-State team, a player must first earn all-star distinction in their respective class.

Roberts was joined on the Class B all-star team by Lomega teammate Sydni Walker.

Okarche’s Jalie Rother was a selection in Class A.

For the large schools (Classes 4A-6A), Kingfi sher’s Emily Myers was named a Class 4A all-star.

Stover averaged 17.5 points and 8.0 rebounds a game for Okarche, which was 24-6 and advanced to the Class A semifinals.

Roberts scored 17.1 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Lady Raiders.

She helped guide them to a 29-3 record and a spot in the Class B state title game.
