Francisco Marquez

The funeral for Francisco Oviedo Marquez, 61, was Friday July 7, at First Baptist Church of Hennessey officiated by Sergio Ortega. Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Francisco was born in Sainapuchic, Chihuahua, Mexico, on Oct. 4, 1961, to Eleazar and Amalia Marquez de Regaldo and died Sunday July 2, 2023, at Integris Baptist Health Center in Oklahoma City.

He married Concepcion Teran in Hennessey on Feb. 27, 1983.

Francisco is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Randy Marquez of Andrews, Texas, and Eric Marquez and wife Meagan of Norman; one daughter, Elizabeth Marin and husband Miguel Angel; six grandchildren; two sisters, Luz Odil Marquez and Ivon Marquez.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
