Allan Bruce Stoddard, Sr., was born Jan. 9, 1951, in Lincoln, Neb., to Elmer and Doris Stoddard.

He passed away Nov. 19, 2024, in Kingfisher at the age of 73. Bruce grew up between Hume, Mo., and Wichita, Kan.

Through his adult life he was a mechanic specializing in front end alignments, working for K&S Tire in Kingfisher from 1994 until retirement in 2019.

Bruce loved spending time with his children, grandkids, hunting, fishing and camping.

He is survived by one brother, Melvin Stoddard and wife Darlene of Wichita, Kan.; sister Louis Hanson of Joplin, Mo.; 10 children, including Cindy Stoddard and Mike Jones of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Allan Stoddard, Jr., of Union City, Travis and Viki Stoddard of Minco, Robert Stoddard of Laconia, N.H., Rodney and Vanessa Stoddard of Ed-mond, Kristyn and Howard Faircloth of Roseboro, N.C., Chelsea Carnes of Ponca City, David and Monica Stoddard of Munford, Tenn., Donald “DJ” Stoddard of Kingfisher, Darby Hensley of Owasso; 48 grandchildren and great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved uncle, Hershel and aunt Juanita Finley A memorial service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Sanders Funeral Home Chapel in Kingfisher.
