Local Weather Observer Steve Loftis measured 3.5 inches at 7 a.m. Sunday morning and another three inches at 7 a.m. Monday. The snow limited church attendance but mostly melted on roadways during the day and sanding crews kept ahead of it on state highways. Additional snow started falling Tuesday and was still coming down at press time. Mesonet precipitation reports included the following: Kingfisher .12, Guthrie .16, El Reno .2, Marshall .12, Breckenridge .08, Lahoma .05, Minco .28, Idabel 1.08, Valliant 1.13, and Boise City .05.
