NEW FACES – Kingfisher City Commission and the Kingfisher Board of Education have new members as of Monday night. Pictured on the left is Daniel Ruhl (left) being administered the oath of office for Seat 3 on the city commision by City Attorney Jared Harrison. Ruhl won an election last week over incumbent Dawn Taylor and fellow challenger Jimmie Koehn. He was one of two city commissioners elected. The other, Jeremie Hill for Seat 4, was out of town for work on Monday and will take the oath of office at 8 a.m. Friday, April 17. Pictured right is Alberto Sanchez (left) reading the oath of office for the board of education. Sanchez was unopposed for the seat most recently held by Mike Copeland, the outgoing board president.
