Football districts OK’d for 24-25 seasons

The OSSAA Board of Directors earlier this month approved the football districts for the 2024 and 2025 football seasons.

KHS turns focus to 33 Classic

Rodeo fans, riders in for a treat this week in Hennessey

Cowboys and cowgirls from all around will be competing on horseback or riding a bull Wednesday through Saturday, Aug. 16-19, during Hennessey’s annual rodeo events.

Kingfisher softball and Lomega baseball both had the chance to show off improved facilities as their 2023 fall campaigns began last week. Unfortunately for the home teams, the visitors pulled off wins in each one. On the left, KHS pitcher Kinlee East delivers to home plate against Bethany on Tuesday. KHS built a 5-1 lead, but eventually fell 8-6 to the Bronchos. On the right, Okarche’s Easton Roby heads toward home during the decisive fifth inning.
