Eldrige Hubbard

Eldrige Oran Hubbard, a longtime resident of Loyal and Kingfisher, passed away at his Kingfisher home Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023.

Eldrige was born July 15, 1930, and was the second child of Oran and Golda Hubbard.

He attended school at Omega and graduated in 1948.

After high school, he worked in Enid at several jobs, then came back home to work the family farm.

Eldrige was very active with his local church family. He has been a faithful attendee of the local Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene for over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Grace Immel.

He is survived by his wife Pauline Musick Hubbard; children Carla Sue Hubbard Cochran and husband Randy of Fort Worth, Texas, Sherry Kay Hubbard of Oklahoma City, Monte Brown and wife Merisela of Oklahoma City, Ginger Duckwall and husband Ron of Argyle, Texas, and Scott Brown and wife Theresa of Gladewater, Texas.

Also nine grandchildren, Jacob Brown, Grant Duckwall and wife Hannah, Erin Williams and husband Matt, Jonathan Brown and wife Lyndsey, Jennifer Willard and husband Bryan, Addison Brown, Krystin Brown, Kyrie Griffin and husband Harrison and Mitch Duckwall; and five great-grandchildren, Killian Williams, Tobias Williams, Mia Willard, Kendra Griffin and James Eldrige Duckwall.
