Hennessey extended its win streak to nine games and kept its flawless conference record intact on Friday.

The Eagles took down Oklahoma Bible Academy 57-43 behind a strong second and third quarter push.

The victory came on homecoming night as Layton Choate and Noelle Pollard were crowned king and queen.

Later in the boys game, with the score tied at 7-7 after a quarter, Hennessey outscored the Trojans 36-22 over the next 16 minutes.

Layton Choate sparked a 19-10 advantage in the second quarter as he scored 10 points.

He added four more in the third quarter and led the team with 18 points overall.

Jael Torres scored at least three points in every quarter and finished his night with 16 points.

Garret Vinson nailed three 3-pointers to finish with nine while James Sims added eight.

Hennessey is now 11-2 overall and is 3-0 in Three Rivers Conference regular season games.

OBA dropped to 2-8 and 1-3.

The Trojans were led by Jake Colby’s 19 points.

Cayot leads Lady Trojans past Hennessey

Conley Cayot’s big game helped lead Oklahoma Bible Academy to its third straight win.

That came at the expense of Hennessey as the Lady Eagles dropped a 59-36 home game on Friday.

Cayot scored a game-high 24 points as OBA improved to 8-2 overall and 3-1 in the Three Rivers Conference.

The Lady Trojans have won six of their last seven. The lone loss was to Okarche in the finals of the Three Rivers Conference Tournament.

Hennessey, meanwhile, has dropped three straight. The Lady Eagles are 7-6 overall and still looking for their first conference win.

They got 12 points from Katie Kennedy and 10 from Noelle Pollard.

However, they fell behind 16-5 after a quarter and couldn’t catch up.

Yuridia Rios added eight points for the Lady Eagles.
