Wrestling regionals announced

The OSSAA released wrestling regional assignments this week and all three county schools landed in the same regional.

Kingfisher, Cashion and Hennessey will be a part of the 3A boys west regional to be hosted by Watonga.

Teams in the west regional are: Anadarko, Bethel, Caddo, Casady, Cashion, Chandler, Coalgate, Comanche, Cordell, Crossings Christian, Davis, Dewar, Dickson, Geary, Hennessey, Heritage Hall, Hinton, Hobart, Kingfisher, Lexington, Lincoln Christian, Little Axe, Lone Grove, Mangum, Marlow, Morris, Oklahoma Christian School, Okemah, Pathways, Prague, Salina, Star Spencer, Watonga, Wilson (Henryetta).

The boys wrestling regional will be held Feb. 20-21.

Meanwhile, the girls regionals will be Feb. 16-17.

Kingfisher and Cashion are both in the 5A west regional at Weatherford.
